He had a gold belt wrapped around his waist, and another one proudly hung on his shoulders. Even as a child, the actor had the charming smirk that has earned him a large female fan base. In the accompanying caption, he wrote:
“A Lil’ throwback action to 1983, when I was 11 years old - I used to LOVE putting on my dad’s wrestling trunks, boots, jacket, and championship belts.”
This month has been an exciting one for Dwayne’s 201 million followers as he has entertained them with fantastic throwback photos of his childhood.
The Rock explained that he was dreaming of becoming a pro wrestling champion at the time of the photo. The actor didn’t fail to poke fun at himself as he mocked his man breast and afro.
Fans may recall that the “Skyscraper” star lost his father in January who was 75 years old. Rocky was a Canadian professional wrestler who became part of the WWE in 1983.
This month has been an exciting one for Dwayne’s 201 million followers as he has entertained them with fantastic throwback photos of his childhood. On October 16, the actor referenced his Sexiest Man alive award, which he won in 2016 with a hilarious yearbook portrait.
A 7-year-old Dwayne was seen in a short-sleeved button-down shirt with floral patterns as he smiled at the camera. It was, however, his smile that was the highlight of the look. The accompanying caption read:
“Throwback to 7 years old in Hawaii and just drippin’ cool with my buck teeth, aloha shirt, and WTF is going on with my afro matted down on one side!”
The Rock admitted that he couldn’t believe such a nerd like him would bag the honorable title of People’s Sexiest Man Alive. The array of throwback photos come weeks after the actor’s wife Lauren Hashian celebrated their love with a heartwarming music video for her hit song, “Step Into A Love Like This.”
Hashian, who is a songwriter and producer, initially released the song in August to commemorate her first wedding anniversary. The video documented several love stories of couples worldwide that were all submitted by fans during the quarantine.
