Kelly Ripa Proudly Shares Photo of Her Daughter's First Election — Check It Out

Kelly Ripa shared a milestone moment in the life of her daughter Lola Consuelos as she becomes a young adult, and exercises her right to vote.

Having the right to vote is a great privilege that unfortunately is not granted to all people around the world. "Live! with Kelly and Ryan" host Kelly Ripa proudly shared an Instagram post announcing that her daughter Lola Consuelos did her duty as a US citizen.

For the first time, 19-year-old Lola exercised her right to vote, and cast her first ballot in the historic presidential elections which will be decided on November 3, 2020.

FIRST VOTE

Ripa posted a series of snaps of herself with her son Michael and daughter Lola. Ripa announced in her caption that she and son Michael, 23, had voted early, but that she'd had to capture Lola's first experience as a voter.

The proud mom captured Lola standing in the rain with her umbrella and her mask as she stood in line to cast her vote. Ripa has been encouraging people to vote early, and so avoid crowds.

Ripa welcomed Lola as her second-born with handsome actor husband Mark Consuelos whom she met on the set of the soap opera "All My Children"

POLITICALLY AWARE

Ripa had previously spoken about how mature and aware Lola was of issues that affect women, and how she is already working towards making changes that will improve lives for the better. Ripa said:

"Her generation really supports each other, the way she and her friends have each other’s backs. For all the talk about women helping other women, I see it in her generation in a way I never have before."

Lola, who is studying music in New York is a singer, and turned 19 on June 16 2020. Ripa shared that her daughter's only request for her birthday was that she be allowed to sleep in.

Lola is proving to be as strong-willed and independent as her famous mom, and Ripa was stunned when the feisty teen removed a comment her mother made on Instagram on Father's day which had obviously embarrassed her.

Ripa welcomed Lola as her second-born with handsome actor husband Mark Consuelos whom she met on the set of the soap opera "All My Children" in 1995. Ripa and Consuelos eloped in 1996, and have now been married for 24 years.

Ripa and Consuelos have three children, Michael, Lola, and the "baby" of the family is Joaquin, who is now 17 years old. Their oldest, Michael, is also an actor and goes by the professional name of Michael Joseph Consuelos and is on his way to becoming as famous as his celebrity parents.

As for Lola, she is already gathering quite a body of fans, with over 275,000 followers on her Instagram account. Lola has recently deleted all her old posts and has only one post of throwback snaps.
