Fantasia Gives Glimpse of Her Daughter Waving to Her While Driving Her Lavish White Car
Fantasia’s only daughter, Zion, grew up before the public’s eyes and recently appeared in her mom’s Instagram stories.
After gaining fame on “American Idol” Season 3, Fantasia Barrino became a household name, and fans began following her life story, including her daughter’s growing years.
Recently, the singer shared an Instagram story of her daughter Zion behind the wheels of a white two-door luxury car. In the short clip, Zion rolled down her window and waved at her mom, who was inside another vehicle.
The “Lose to Win” artist added an Instagram sticker on the post that read, “YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE,” which probably encapsulates how she feels about her daughter.
Zion turned 19 years old in August and lives a private life in North Carolina, with occasional glimpses of her days on social media. However, the teen’s posts are limited to selfies, with her mom appearing in some snaps.

Fantasia shares her daughter with her ex-boyfriend, Brandel Shouse. The R&B star was only 16 at that time and had a tumultuous relationship with Shouse that eventually ended with separation.
Taylor shared an anniversary tribute to Fantasia and vowed to be her support system and best friend through life’s best and worst moments.

Following their breakup, Fantasia raised her daughter single-handedly, and her challenging experience inspired her song, “Baby Mama.” In an interview, she shared:
“There was some controversy when I was on ‘American Idol’ because I was a single mom. Some think ‘Baby Mama’ is promoting sex and all that. It is not, and it’s not saying it’s cool to be a single mom.”

In her song, the talented artist talked about the struggle of raising children alone and sympathized with all single mothers who went through the same hardship as she did.
After several years and with her career in place, Fantasia may have thought that her life was already at peace. However, when Zion turned 13 in 2014, Shouse reportedly filed for custody of their daughter.
Things have been well for Fantasia since, even finding love again with her current husband, Kendall Taylor. A few months ago, the power couple celebrated their sixth anniversary with sweet Instagram posts.
