"Dancing With The Stars" is undeniably one of the most popular shows today with its impressive cast of celebrities and professional dancers. Backstreet Boys member AJ McLean and pro-dancer Cheryl Burke were recently eliminated from the show, and fans were far from pleased.

The show's Instagram page uploaded a series of pictures on November 9 which captured moments from McLean and Burke's routine on Monday's episode.

The singer was dressed in a Freddie Mercury inspired yellow jacket with gold stripes over a white sleeveless top and matching pants. His partner wore a stunning red gown with a low neckline and exposed back.

Two judges chose to save Weir which inevitably meant McLean wouldn't advance to the semifinals.

According to the post's caption, the pair performed a Viennese waltz, but their routine was not enough to save them from elimination and fans were furious by the outcome.

However, a fan believed the show was being rigged to favor the bachelorette contestant. Despite their amazing streak on the show, McLean and Burke found themselves at the judges' mercy on Monday night when they ended up in the bottom two alongside Johnny Weir and Britt Stewart.

Burke told sources that she was upset about their results and believes the scoring system of the judges is "not consistent." Her disappointment also came from the fact that she had already prepared routines for the semifinals. In her words:

"Normally I'm not that confident going in, but I was like, 'For sure, there's no way [we'll get eliminated]'."

The 36-year-old and her partner had performed a Viennese waltz to "Somebody To Love" by Queens and received 23 out of 30 points. The low score came from the fact that McLean made a mistake at the start of their routine.

The singer told sources that although this was his first mistake, he believed they were able to finish their performance perfectly. The 42-year-old confessed that while he's sad about leaving, he's also delighted to return to his family.
