Amanda Kloots Puts up Decorations Early for Her 1st Christmas since Nick Cordero's Death
Amanda Kloots has had a pretty tough year, primarily due to the death of her husband, Broadway actor Nick Cordero. However, the fitness enthusiast remains optimistic about the future and is getting a jump in her Christmas decorations.
Amanda Kloots took to Instagram to share with her followers that she had begun early Christmas decorations. In a lovely snap, the fitness instructor confirmed that she had set up a Christmas tree in the house and is now awaiting the holidays.
Kloots explained that she would be traveling for the holidays, so she decided to start quite early. She had some help, with her brother Todd throwing in some expertise to get the job done.

Speaking on the process, Kloots explained that she merely wanted to feel happy about the forthcoming holidays. Though they are still weeks away, she is getting into the Christmas spirit early. The fitness instructor also spoke about how this year's Christmas would be the first since her husband’s death. In part, she said:
“This holiday season won’t be easy, especially because I love Christmas. I love Hallmark movies, hot cocoa, mistletoe, Christmas carols …"
Kloots explained that she understands the difficulty of having her first Christmas since Cordero’s death and the difficulty of missing him every day. However, she remains committed to enjoying the season no matter what. If not for anyone, for her and the couple’s son, Elvis.
Cordero went into the Intensive Care Unit after contracting the virus early in the year.
Kloots added that her desire to enjoy this season, regardless of Cordero’s death, factored into her decorations as well. As she explained, she would usually hang up ornaments with a sense of meaning and be meticulous about it.
This year, however, it was different. She merely enjoyed the decoration process, even though some ornaments had no meaning. It has been a pretty challenging year for Kloots, who had to take care of Cordero after developing severe health complications due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
Cordero went into the Intensive Care Unit after contracting the virus early in the year. While he fought as hard as he could, he eventually passed away in July. Since then, Kloots has been doing her best to move forward and stay optimistic for herself and the couple’s son.
It has not been easy, but she has persevered. Late last month, the fitness instructor shared that she and Elvis had made a lovely clay vase out of Cordero’s ashes.
The vase turned out pretty nice, allowing Kloots to show off some of her pottery skills. With the first Christmas since Cordero’s death coming up, the pair will need all the love they can get. Thankfully, they have a family to lean on.
