Princess Eugenie has been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic just like many others; the royal member gives fans an update of what her life looked like in the past few months.

While speaking to Cameron Saul during an Instagram live session recently, Eugenie explained that she feels lucky and blessed to have remained healthy amid the pandemic.

Princess Eugenie added that she feels fortunate because the royal member cannot imagine the experiences of those who have been infected with the novel coronavirus.

Despite not having a firsthand experience with the virus, Eugenie, who is currently pregnant with her first child, has people around her who were diagnosed with the novel coronavirus.

It was recently revealed that Eugenie's cousin, Prince William, was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus shortly after his father, Prince Charles, contracted the virus in March. In May, her father-in-law, George Brooksbank, was also diagnosed with the virus and hospitalized for nine weeks.

While speaking during the Instagram Live, Eugenie referenced her father-in-law's battle with the novel coronavirus. She expressed gratitude to health workers who took care of him and many others.

Over time, Eugenie has proved that family is a priority and will always remain grateful for them. A few days ago, the royal shared a picture of her great uncle Victor Ferguson who was killed while serving in the army in 1918.

Eugenie shared the image to honor her uncle and mark Remembrance Day, celebrated on November 11. It's unclear how exactly the late soldier is related to Princess Eugenie, but he is reportedly an uncle from her mother, Sarah Ferguson's side.

Eugenie, who is tenth in line to the British throne, is expecting her first child with her husband, Jack Brooksbank. The royal and her husband announced the pregnancy in September while revealing that their due date is in early 2021.

Though 2020 has been filled with many uncertainties, Eugenie's pregnancy is a silver lining for her and the other royals. With 2021 comes new things and, most importantly, with a new royal baby. It is no wonder Eugenie considers herself to be lucky.
