It’s not only the smell of hot chocolate that is filling the Christmas air; many Black holiday movies are up in the airwaves and they are a must-watch this season.
While some love to tune in to interesting series on various streaming services, some people also like to watch feel-good movies to divert their attention from all the worries and uncertainties during this tough year.
Many streaming services and TV networks have been offering a bunch of movies that will surely put you in tears or give you earworms one movie after another. Here are the must-watch films for the holidays.

FEELING THE CHRISTMAS LOVE IN FILMS
For those Christmas-obsessed, the movie "The Christmas Doctor" on the Hallmark Channel is for you. It stars actress Holly Robinson Peete and Adrian Holmes.
The romantic movie revolves around Peete’s character Dr. Alicia Wright, who's on assignment away from home, pursued by Holmes, who plays a mystery man.
Meanwhile, on Netflix, the "Hot Chocolate Nutcracker" should not be missed. The documentary will show Debbie Allen and her students in the Debbie Allen Dance Academy’s take on the classic Christmas ballet.
HEART-MELTING MOVIES
The Hallmark Channel has started to air holiday movies since Thanksgiving week. The first movie they premiered was "Christmas Tree Grows in Colorado" last November 24.
Next on the channel’s list is "Christmas Comes Twice," shown on December 13. Actress Tamera Mowry, who inked a deal with the network, stars in the film. The actress who was excited about her return, said:
"There’s just something about a Hallmark movie that warms your heart and I’m beyond excited to be joining the network not just as an actor and executive producer, but more so as a family member."
ADVENTURE IN SPACE
For those who love animated movies, Disney’s "LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special" is a good movie to catch this holiday season. The film revolves around a family reunion in the galaxy to celebrate "Life Day."
The adventure-filled movie revolves around a quest for the true meaning of the holiday spirit. Led by its protagonist, Rey, voiced by actress Helen Sadler, the movie will show a timeline of the whole Star Wars history.
"American Idol" star Carrie Underwood is also getting in the Christmas spirit with her new holiday album called "My Gift."
THE VOICE OF THE SEASON
Meanwhile, Apple is ready to show off their holiday deal in their streaming services, as they will debut Mariah Carey’s "Magical Christmas Special" production and soundtrack on December 4.
Carey, known as the Queen of Christmas, will have a star-studded lineup in the holiday soundtrack, including Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, and Snoop Dogg.
Despite the difficult challenges that hit many people across the world, these heart-warming movies and music are a fun way to spread love and happiness. These movies also offer a wonderful excuse to feel hopeless romantic.
"American Idol" star Carrie Underwood is also getting into the Christmas spirit with her new holiday album called "My Gift." She hoped that her soundtrack would be everyone‘s music while preparing for the season.
What is special about her Christmas album is that Underwood’s five-year-old son, Isaiah, who seems to be interested in music like his mother, is featured in one of her tracks, titled "Little Drummer Boy."
