'Friends' Star Matthew Perry Gets Engaged to Girlfriend Molly Hurwitz after 2 Years of Dating

Actor Matthew Perry recently got engaged to his girlfriend! The great news was revealed by the star during an exclusive interview with “People” magazine, where he opened up about taking this big step.

Matthew Perry, 51, started dating his girlfriend, Molly Hurwitz, 29, in 2018. The couple has been quite serious about their relationship and it was reported that they even spent the holidays together in 2019.

According to “Daily Mail” at the time, Hurwitz posted a photo of herself and Perry on her Instagram account. The image confirmed that the pair had spent the festive time together.

Now “People” magazine has revealed that the “Friends” actor (the show will have a reunion special in 2021) proposed to Hurwitz and she said yes! Speaking to the publication about how it all went down, the star confessed:

“I decided to get engaged."

For Valentine’s Day this year, Hurwitz shared an adorable message for her partner. She wrote on her private Instagram account that it was the second year that she had the star as her partner and her Valentine.

She concluded her message by wishing him a happy Valentine’s Day but also joked that it was, however, his first time as an Instagram influencer. At the time, Perry had just joined the social media platform on February 7th after holding out for a while.

The picture she shared of Perry, on her social media account, showed him looking vulnerable and sweet. The star was photographed while sleeping on the couch with a yellow smiley face pillow.

Keith Morrison is married to his wife of 39 years, Suzanne Perry, 72, whose son happens to be Matthew Perry.

The duo's relationship became public knowledge in November 2019 when they were seen together outside a restaurant in West Hollywood. When Hurwitz spent the holidays at his apartment in Los Angeles she posted a photo calling him her boyfriend.

The “Fools Rush In” star has never been married before so this would be his first time. Gushing over his literary manager partner and new fiancée, Perry stated to “People” magazine:

"Luckily, I happened to be dating the greatest woman on the face of the planet at this time.”

In October 2020, “Dateline” correspondent Keith Morrison, 73, opened up about his 50 years in the business and his family. The award-winning journalist is married to his wife of 39 years, Suzanne Perry, 72, whose son happens to be Matthew Perry.
