DWTS Pro Sharna Burgess Hints at New Boyfriend — Here's What She Said

Although “Dancing with the Stars” professional dancer Sharna Burgess didn’t share any names, she revealed in an interview that she was off the market.

On December 7, Burgess made headlines after saying that, after going on “so many social distancing dates” due to the coronavirus, she finally found love.

The 35-year-old dancer admitted that her romance with the still-unnamed man was very new and that, since they’re simply dating, nobody’s calling it a relationship yet.

Burgess went on to detail how dating amid the coronavirus pandemic was for her, and it included going to the park and getting separate blankets and sitting six feet apart.

The Australian dancer used to think that, when she met someone, she would “scream it from the mountain tops.” However, now that she’s off the market, it’s “almost the opposite.”

Burgess pointed out that she became more private about it as she wanted to hold her romance “close” to her for as long as possible to simply enjoy her partner for as much as she can.

Although the dancer acknowledged that she and her mystery man are still in the early stages of their relationship, she said things feel “different” from her previous romances.

BURGESS AND METCALFE IN “DWTS”

Months ago, Burgess and the “Desperate Housewives” actor Jesse Metcalfe attracted a lot of attention due to the chemistry they showed during their performances in “DWTS.”

Although they looked great together and Metcalfe improved his dancing skills over the weeks, they were eliminated in mid-October (Week Five) during ‘80s Night.

Burgess and Metcalfe admitted that they weren’t ready to leave but felt grateful for their time together. He labeled it an “amazing experience” and confessed that he lost ten pounds.

In November, Burgess attracted a lot of attention after saying that Master P was the worst “DWTS” contestant ever. She said he wasn’t trying because he was “too cool for school.”

For Burgess, the best ones were Jordan Fisher, Normani, and Laurie Hernandez, contestants who had dance training before joining the show.

When it comes to people with no previous dance training, Burgess believes that James Hinchcliffe was the best. Fans of the Australian dancer can’t wait to meet her new boyfriend!
