Stephanie Mills' Special Needs Son Farad Looks Happy as He Shows off His Curly Hair in New Pics
Stephanie Mills shared adorable pictures of her son Farad as he posed with friends while she announced the launch of her new foundation, which is centered on taking care of special needs children.
Broadway singer Stephanie Mills took to Instagram to share pictures of her son, Farad, looking happy and cute as he showed off his curly hair. There was a lengthy caption alongside the post that started with her saying:
"I am super excited to kick off my 444love foundation this weekend. My foundation focuses on children with #downsyndrome."

She then introduced her "444 Love babies," which included her son Farad and three other ladies, namely Aliza, Lizzie, and Lauren. All four of them were featured in the pictures she shared. She continued by stating that:
"They represent Joy, Compassion, Patients {sic}, Understanding, Strength, Intelligence, and of course, LOVE??."
The first image in the series Mills shared featured her standing in a semi-circle with Farad, Aliza, Lizzie, and Lauren. The five of them looked to be engaged in a conversation, and they had on their nose masks.
The second image was that of Farad, and he looked adorable with his curly hair and sunshades. He had on a blue and red short-sleeved jacket, and underneath that, he wore a white long-sleeved top on blue jeans.
Mills intimated that the one thing she never does is allow someone to treat Farad differently because of his condition.
The series of images that followed featured Aliza, Lizzie, and Lauren. And like Farad, they also had on blue jeans and a white top.
The three ladies looked lovely as they posed for their shot. The last image was that of the four of them pretending to pose with a gun in hand.
Lovers of Mills and Farad took to the comments section to give their thoughts on the shared images and the new foundation she was launching. Many commended her for her incredible work with special needs children.
For the actress, birthing Farad is one of her most significant accomplishments, and catering to his needs has never been a burden as they both have a system that works for them, which makes things easy and seamless.
In a chat with Erica Campbell a few years ago, Mills intimated that the one thing she never does is allow someone to treat Farad differently because of his condition.
She added that she did not expect less from him and was always keen on him achieving and being more. Aside from being a doting mother, Mills is also a talented musician and songwriter.
In 1980, she won the Grammy Award for Best R&B Vocal Performance. With her incredible achievements, it is no wonder that she encourages Farad to aspire to be the best version of himself.
