Wendy Williams' Brother Tommy Advises Her to Take a Day off Following Their Mom's Death (Video)

In a YouTube video, Wendy Williams' brother Tommy advised her to take a day off after revealing that their mother died recently and not many weeks ago, as claimed by the TV host.

Losing a loved one can be challenging but talking about the experience publicly is often more challenging. Famous TV host Wendy Williams recently announced the passing of her 85-year-old mother.

Earlier this week, a confident Williams announced to millions of people on her show that her mother, with whom she shared a close bond, had passed away.

The 56-year-old show host said that she was mourning the loss of her 85-year-old mother, who she said passed on many weeks ago.

Williams remarked that her late mother passed away beautifully and peacefully surrounded by love. The show host revealed that her mom did not suffer.

Williams' brother Tommy has opposing views as to when their mom passed away. In a recent video, Tommy said that their mom recently passed away and not many weeks ago, as claimed by his famous sister.

In the YouTube video, Tommy also said that he had advised "The Wendy Williams Show" host to take take a day off work for the sake of her mental health.

The 56-year-old show host reportedly left a seat open in the audience.

After watching Williams' announcement, Tommy said that what she was going through would affect her mental health and noted that she might be a celebrity, but she is someone's child.

In the 20-minutes-long video, Tommy said that his sister's problem was that she did not know how to take a day off work and relax.

Williams' brother said that he hoped his sister would make some changes to taking time off work to relax and confessed that she is doing a lot better now.

Williams has been vocal about the bond she shared with her mother, Shirley, which she described as a relationship between two teenage girls.

To honor her mother, who would sometimes stop by the show for a talk, the 56-year-old show host reportedly left a seat open in the audience. Since hearing of her mother's death, fans of the popular host have been pouring in messages of love and support.
