SHIRLEY DIED WEEKS AGO
In the episode, Williams talked about how her mother passed away many weeks back, and she feels like it was a long time ago. Talking about the experience, she said:
"You know how you lose track of the day and time? All I know was it was a long time ago. The five of us, my mom, dad, my siblings, the five of us — she will always be here."

According to Williams, sometimes she and her mother would even fall asleep while talking on the phone, wake up to each other's voices, and talk about trivial matters.
SHE WAS LOVED
Williams said her mom was the best girlfriend a girl could ever have. As she fought back the tears, she said she feels lucky to have had her. She added:
"I got be strong for my son — this is his first death."
William's family friend Courtney Brown was the first one to break the news on Instagram. She said her grandmother was Shirley's best friend of 83 years. The post has since been deleted.
