Savannah Guthrie Gushes over Her Mother's Christmas Tree Decorations — Here's Why
"Today" star Savannah Guthrie's mom has set up her grand Christmas tree, and Guthrie could not help but be proud of how her mom was thoughtful and chose a "socially responsible" tree.
While many stars and fans alike have their Christmas trees set up with different flamboyant themes, TV star Savannah Guthrie's mom opted for a thoughtful but sweet theme that reflected on the global health situation.
On Instagram, a proud Guthrie was filled with pride as she gushed over her mom's tree, letting fans know the level of creativity the matriarch put into decorating her Christmas tree.

In the two-photo post, anyone viewing would initially see nothing but a regular deep green fir tree with many Christmas ornaments and vibrant lights as it stood in one corner of the matriarch's home.
However, the second image provided clarity as Guthrie pointed out the distinct object passing for an extra ornament in the Christmas tree.
The broadcaster indicated with a yellow marker as she circled out the single facemask her mom hung on the corner of her fir tree. Guthrie captioned her post:
"Love my mom's Christmas tree, and it is socially responsible…"

Just like Guthrie, many fans reeled with laughter, loving the matriarch's cute thoughtfulness and how she has creatively made a unique tree channeling the pandemic.
Many fans who shared emojis with facemasks approved of the tree as they noted that it was appropriate. It is safe to say that many people can relate to Guthrie's mom's Christmas tree choice.
Singers like Dolly Parton, Kelly Clarkson, and Earth, Wind, and Fire graced the heartwarming event.
In recent times, many have tried to navigate daily activities with the new normal. Guthrie, a seasoned broadcaster, is one of many who tried to get accustomed to the pandemic life.
Last month, she and her spouse opened up in an interview on how they have been handling their home and parenting amid the novel coronavirus break out. The star mom-of-two shared that she and her husband were a team in running their home.
The TV host referred to her spouse, Mike, as the chief technology officer who took care of alarms and setting up the kids for their zoom classes. After Guthrie returned home from work at midday, she would take over from him.
All up in the spirit of Christmas, Guthrie, 48, joined her fellow "Today" stars, Craig Melvin, Hoda Kotb, and famous weatherman, Al Roker to put up the 88th annual Rockefeller tree.
The Christmas tree lighting occasion was a bit different this year as it's usual crowd dwindled to only a few people who were the music stars invited to set off the bright tree. Singers like Dolly Parton, Kelly Clarkson, and Earth, Wind, and Fire graced the heartwarming event.
