Bianca Van Damme, the daughter of actor and martial artist Jean-Claude Van Damme, followed in her father’s footsteps and became a toned and talented actress.

Born in October 1960, Jean-Claude started studying karate when he was only 11 years old. After winning a karate championship and participating in a bodybuilding competition, he worked as a model.

Jean-Claude eventually tried to break into the martial-arts movie industry in Hong Kong but soon moved to Los Angeles, where he landed parts in “No Retreat, No Surrender” and “Bloodsport.”

JEAN-CLAUDE’S WIVES

Since the early-90s, the actor has been one of the most famous martial artists and actors in Hollywood, getting roles in “Universal Soldier,” “Time Cop,” and “Maximum Risk.”

As per his love life, Jean-Claude has been married five times to four different women: Maria Rodriguez, Cynthia Derderian, Gladys Portugues (twice), and Darcy LaPier.

Bianca grew up telling her parents that she “hated” martial arts.

Gladys Portugues married him in 1987 but walked away in 1992. They remarried in 1999, but in 2015, the couple attracted a lot of attention after she filed for divorce.

Although she cited irreconcilable differences and asked for spousal support and to remove his last name, they worked things out and are still married at the moment.

With Gladys, a former bodybuilder, the actor shares two children. However, Jean-Claude has three kids in total, and they all look just like their famous father.

KRIS VAN DAMME

Born in May 1987, Kristopher is Gladys and Jean-Claude Van Damme’s eldest kid. He is also an actor and producer who has worked with his dad in “Derailed,” “6 Bullets,” and “Assassination Games.”

Kris, who is as toned and muscular as his famous father used to be in his 30s, is expected to appear in the upcoming film “Frenchy” (which he also co-produced) next to Jean-Claude.

In 2012, Kris attracted everyone’s attention after flexing his muscles on the set of “Welcome To the Jungle,” making it even more evident that he is Jean-Claude’s son.

BIANCA VAN DAMME

Jean-Claude Van Damme’s daughter was born in October 1990, and she has been making headlines ever since landing her first acting gig in 2008’s “The Shepherd Border Patrol.”

From that point on, Bianca has kept herself busy in the entertainment industry, working as an actress, producer, and writer. Most recently, she appeared in “The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson.”

It is important to point out that, although Jean-Claude and Gladys were bodybuilders, Bianca grew up telling her parents that she “hated” martial arts. She didn’t even want to be an actress.

Jean-Claude Van Damme’s daughter explained that her mom pushed her into martial arts for self-discipline, but she couldn’t stand it and stuck with ballet and ice-skating.

Bianca was determined to be in the Olympics as a speed skater, but an injury cut short her career. That’s when she decided to practice martial arts and pursue an acting career.

Nowadays, Bianca is working hard to show young girls and boys that women can be “physical and feminine,” and is also determined to continue her dad’s legacy.

NICOLAS VAN DAMME

Out of Jean-Claude’s three children, Nicolas, born to the actor’s fourth wife Darcy LaPier, is the only one whose acting career has not taken off yet. Worse, he has had some problems with the law.

Nicolas was accused of holding his roommate at knifepoint at their apartment in September 2017, so he was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and marijuana possession.

He eventually pleaded guilty and got probation. So far, Nicolas has appeared in only one movie, “Kickboxer: Retaliation,” but he is very likely to follow in his famous dad’s footsteps, just like his older siblings.
