Gal Gadot Opens up about Her Friendship with Kristen Wiig While Working on 'Wonder Woman 1984'

During an appearance on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," Gal Gadot opened up on her friendship with Kristen Wiig while the duo worked on "Wonder Woman 1984."

Aside from filming the biggest superhero movie of the year, popular actress Gal Gadot also got herself a new friend with whom she shares her sense of humor and enjoys her company.

The 35-year-old actress virtually appeared on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" to promote her upcoming movie, "Wonder Woman 1984," which also stars Kristen Wiig as supervillain Cheetah.

During the NBC night show, actress Gadot opened up on the on-screen and off-screen relationship she had with her co-star, Wiig, during the superhero sequel's filming.

The Isreali actress said that she and Wiig enjoyed an instant connection and adored each other despite the tasking and laborious filming for over eight months in different locations. Gadot described Wiig as a funny person who is fun to be around and open as well.

She credited Wiig for making the filming experience fun and enjoyable. Wiig, on her part, called Gadot a great scene partner and friend and noted that despite their bond set, they adapt well to the scenes where they have that supervillain-hero rivalry.

DC fans can expect a real treat when they are released in theaters.

Later in the show, Jimmy Fallon introduced the audience to Gadot's and Wiig's low budget music video. In the silly video, the actresses, playfully ran around, while singing about how much fun they were having.

When asked about "Wonder Woman 1984," Gadot called the superhero movie the most ambitious project she has been on with an incredible storyline, which she is excited to share.

The superhero movie sees a reclusive Diana Prince (played by Gadot) finding a friend in Dr. Barbara Ann Minerva (Kristen Wiig). After transforming into The Cheetah, Minerva becomes one of Wonder Woman's greatest foes.

"Wonder Woman 1984," which was directed by Patty Jenkins and set in 1984, during the Cold War. The movie focuses on Diana (Wonder Woman) and her past love, Steve Trevor, as they go against supervillains Maxwell Lord and Cheetah.

The movie premiered on December 15, on the DC FanDome virtual platform. It is scheduled to be released in theaters on December 25. The early reviews for the superhero movie are favorable, meaning DC fans can expect a real treat when they are released in theatesr.
