Britney Spears Debuts a New Look as She Shows off Her Short Haircut
Amid her court battle with her father, singer Britney Spears debuted a new bold haircut and showed off her revamped look in an Instagram post that garnered several reactions from her fans.
Amid her legal battle with her father, singer Britney Spears decided to switch her looks up and bless her fans with a new version of herself. On Wednesday, Spears debuted a shorter, funky hairstyle on her Instagram page.
The selfie uploaded showed her blonde tresses chopped into a bob hairstyle with dark highlights at the roots. The singer's hair was styled messily with stray strands covering her forehead and standing out from the top.

Channeling a fierce look, the "...Baby One More Time" crooner pouted her lips and looked into the camera with her eyes heavily adorned with black makeup. She wore a floral-patterned dress with a high neck and the accompanying caption read:
"Cut my hair !!!! You know what they say .... out with the old .... in with the new !!!!! Now let us pray!!!!"
Spears posted two more photos of the same nature that gave fans a closer look at her shorter hair, and in no time, the comments section blew up with remarks. Some fans gushed about how much they loved the new look.
Last month, her attorney Samuel D Ingham stated during a court hearing that the singer was afraid of her father.
Others, however, expressed concern for the singer's mental health, asking if she was doing alright. The Grammy Award winner is currently embroiled in a nasty legal battle with her dad, Jamie Spears.
The 39-year-old was placed under her father's conservatorship in 2007, shortly after a publicized mental breakdown episode. He was co-appointed alongside attorney Andrew Wallet to oversee his daughter's decision.
However, when Wallet resigned in March 2019, Jamie was named sole conservator. Five months later, in August, she filed for her father to be removed, but a judge requested her request.
Last month, her attorney Samuel D Ingham stated during a court hearing that the singer was afraid of her father and has put performing on hold as long as her father was in control of her $60 million estate.
Ingham cited a lack of transparency on the 68-year-old's part, noting that he hired a new business manager after his daughter's former manager resigned without informing her of his decision.
However, Jamie has denied all allegations explaining that he and the singer were on good terms until Ingham came about. He hasn't spoken to his daughter since August and believes it is her attorney's doing.
In a statement to CNN, Jamie confessed that he misses and loves Britney and maintained that he has done nothing but protect and love his daughter unconditionally all these past years.
He also vowed to continue to protect her from those around her with self-serving interests. Since her breakout in 1992 as part of the musketeers in Disney's The Mickey Mouse Club, Britney's hair, much like her career, has evolved, continually changing.
Although she maintains blonde hair color, she never fails to switch things up. In 2014 when she walked the Oscar's red carpet with David Lucado, the singer made jaws drop when she rocked a wine hair color. The "Toxic" crooner even went bald in 2007.
