Singer Marie Osmond recently sent fans into an adoring frenzy with photos of her young, adorable granddaughters, Maude & Mabel, and the handmade quilted blankets that she made for them.
Marie Osmond just might be the sweetest grandma ever. The singer recently took to her Instagram to tell her fans about the fabulous blankets she made for her granddaughters with photos of the cute girls. She wrote:
"Just had to share what I've been doing at home. Made these quilted blankets for my sweet granddaughters Maude & Mabel."
Osmond revealed that since her granddaughters are close in age, she decided to make the blankets similar. She chose matching fabrics in different colors — pink with yellow flowers for one and yellow with pink flowers for the other.
Osmond also shared that she chose a traditional bow design for both quilted blankets as a nod to the girls' traditional names. The gift would not be complete without a matching toy bag, so the thoughtful grandma had a friend make bags for the girls.
The photos showed Osmond's granddaughters, Maude & Mabel, lying adorably on their brand new quilted blankets. Both cuties were dressed in all black pajamas with headbands on their short dark curls.
The 4th of the pictures showed one of the girls playing with her new bag. Their smiles were so precious and heart-warming that fans could not help but gush over them and their incredible grandma.
On mother's Day, the singer got the sweetest and most unexpected appreciation presentation from all her children and grandchildren.
The comments could not talk about Osmond's expertise enough as they praised her for the amazing job. Little Maude & Mabel sure are lucky girls.
For avid fans and followers of dear Osmond on social media, it is not a strange sight to see her doting on her family, especially her precious grandchildren of which there are many.
At 61 years old, Osmond is lucky to have a big family of her own to love and cherish. In August 2019, the "Paper Roses" singer shared a rare picture of all seven of her grandchildren and captioned it:
"Photos can look perfect, but did you know that everything isn't perfect? ? In fact everything is "perfectly imperfect!" We make perfect by our choices."
The sweet caption, coupled with the perfectly imperfect photo of the grandmother surrounded by her little ones, had fans tearing up in the comment section. Osmond and her family sure know how to move hearts.
On mother's Day, the singer got the sweetest and most unexpected appreciation presentation from all her children and grandchildren. Osmond, who co-hosted "The Talk," got the surprise of a lifetime.
Her kids and grandkids made a rare video appearance on the show. They all came together to say the sweetest things about her and appreciated her for being the best mother and grandmother.
Osmond was moved to tears with the love and thoughtfulness. She is the mother to seven children — Stephen, Rachael, Matthew, Jessica, Brandon, Brianna, and Abigail — her son, Michael, passed away years ago.
She has seven grandkids — Stephen Jr., Christian, and Maxwell through Stephen, granddaughters, Rocket Jade and Wolf, Rachel, and the blanket-famous Maude and Mabel. It is safe to assume that all seven have gotten more than a lifetime's worth of quilted blankets.
