Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's Christmas Card Is Reportedly on Its Way
Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry might have stepped down from their senior roles in the Royal Family, but there are some traditions that they will reportedly stick to and partake in.
During a recent episode of Apple’s “The HeirPod” podcast, host Omid Scobie shared the latest on Prince Harry and his wife Duchess Meghan. Scobie is also the ABC royal contributor and an author.
This year he released the biography “Finding Freedom,” which looks into the lives of the Sussexes during their time as senior royals. Scobie hosts the podcast alongside ABC News foreign correspondent Maggie Rulli.

According to the royal correspondent, an official festive portrait will be coming out of the Sussex household. Despite Harry and Meghan stepping down from their royal roles, they will partake in the tradition.
Scobie also noted that the couple’s portrait will include their toddler son Archie, 18-months-old. The family is currently living in their $14 million mansion in California in the US since relocating from the UK.
Harry and Meghan announced in January 2020 that they were stepping down from their royal roles in pursuit of independence. Scobie shared his insight into the expected Christmas portrait, stating:
“We've got them in, we're still waiting for the Sussexes' card, I believe it is on its way.”
The London-based royal correspondent also noted how the couple had released a portrait last year during the holiday season. He shared his pleasure about last year’s portrait, saying:
“We obviously had a real treat last year with that really cute photo of Archie.”
Scobie’s revelation came days after it was revealed that Meghan and Harry signed a lucrative podcast deal with Spotify. It was reported that the deal was worth up to £30 million or more than $40 million.
The Cambridge photo was taken in the fall by photographer Matt Porteous.
The deal will see the couple producing and hosting their own shows as part of the newly formed Archewell Audio. So far, Prince William, his wife Duchess Kate, and their children had released their portrait.
Their official 2020 Christmas card showed the family of five, including Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis in the gardens of Birkhall in Norfolk, Anmer Hall. The photo was taken in the fall by Matt Porteous.
Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla have also released there’s. The couple has spent most of the year at their Scottish residence, their first lockdown was spent at their home in Aberdeenshire.
