Whoopi Goldberg's Only Grandson Mason Dean Shows off Dreadlocks in Military T-Shirt
Whoopi Goldberg's grandson Mason Dean looked cool in a new picture he shared on his Instagram page, which showed him flaunting his dreadlocks.
Whoopi Goldberg is a grandmother to three grandchildren, Amarah Dean, Jerzey Dean, and Mason Dean. Her only daughter, Alex Martin, shares them with her husband, Bernard Dean.
Of all her grandchildren, Mason is Goldberg's only grandson, who recently shared two pictures on his Instagram page, showing off his dreads — a trait he shares with his famous grandma.

The first picture in Mason's post showed him in a camo T-shirt. He wore a face cap over his dreads and gave the camera a laid-back stare. He accessorized his look with a gold cross-chain.
In the second snapshot, Mason was outdoors in the night and posed underneath a line of lights. He wore a jacket, dark shades, and a face cap over his dreadlocks.
The 22-year-old Mason is into showbiz like his grandmother and made his rap debut in 2017 at the art show, "Parental Advisory Explicit Images: An Evening of Hip-Hop" presented by Morrison Hotel Gallery in Soho.
Reacting to her grandson's rap debut, Goldberg said that Mason made it to the show on his own and that she had no say in it. The TV host also said she would not make any guest appearance nor drop a verse in his music but would stick to her lane instead.
Goldberg also revealed she took up a role in the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie to impress her grandkids.
Goldberg is a doting mother to her grandchildren, a trait she has shown since their days as kids up until now. In 2006, she revealed her grandkids begged her to use her influence to get them tickets to their favorite show, "American Idol."
Goldberg's grandchildren explained that if they go alone, they would be at the back. However, if their grandma goes with them, they would get to see the stage. Despite not being keen on attending the show, Goldberg obliged.
Another time the grandmother of three let her grandkids have their way was when they collected the Gypsy sports gear she got at the Gypsy Sport Fall 2016 Runway show, which she attended.
She said her grandkids loved the unisex tops and stole them from her. Goldberg also revealed she took up a role in the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie to impress her grandkids.
Goldberg has been married three times in her lifetime. She was married to Alvin Martin from 1973 to 1979 and shares her only child, Alex, with him.
Years after her marriage with Alvin ended, Goldberg married David Claessen. Their union ended two years after. Her final marriage came in 1994 when she married actor Lyle Trachtenberg, though they separated a year later.
