Blake Shelton, 44, proposed to his long-term girlfriend Gwen Stefani, 51, in October 2020. The couple had been together for around five years when the country star proposed at his ranch in Tishomingo, Oklahoma.

Another source close to Stefani shared that the couple wanted a small wedding but it wasn’t possible at the moment with the novel coronavirus disease. They discussed having it early next year but decided against that.
The pair plan on waiting until they can have a small group of family and friends in attendance in the summer. The insider also shared what the pop singer felt about the engagement, saying:
"Gwen is still emotional about the engagement and can’t believe how lucky she is to be with Blake.”
The source claimed Stefani didn’t think the engagement would affect her relationship with Shelton much. The star allegedly thought their relationship already felt like they were married, noting:
"She can’t wait to be his wife."
However, the engagement has sparked much more happiness for the duo. The upcoming wedding has also given the star something incredible to look forward to in the New Year.
When Shelton marries Stefani he will become a stepfather to her three sons.
It’s believed the couple might get married in a chapel that Shelton built for his bride at his ranch. During their engagement announcement fans got to see the chapel when it was posted to Instagram.
When Shelton marries Stefani he will become a stepfather to her three sons. The pop star is a parent to Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, 6, whom she shares with her musician ex-husband Gavin Rossdale.
In a recent interview on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” Stefani confessed that she almost messed up the proposal by not wanting to go to Oklahoma. She was trying to avoid the drama that came with traveling amid a pandemic.
The engaged couple seemingly hit it off when Stefani joined the cast of "The Voice" as a judge alongside Shelton, Adam Levine, and Pharrell Williams. In 2015, both she and Shelton went through individual divorces.
