Katherine Schwarzenegger shared a rare photo with her and her daughter Lyla, who she shares with her husband, Chris Pratt, enjoying a day at the beach during the family's first road trip.

The photo features Schwarzenegger standing on the beach wearing jeans and a comfortable cardigan. The new mother posed with her daughter Lyla strapped to her chest in a leopard print baby carrier.

In the caption, she shared that it was the family's first road trip together and explained that there had been a lot of baby gear she had bought for the trip.

The post featured a photo list of her favorite baby items that she had packed for the family's first road trip. The caption read:

"Between the pumping gear and baby gear there’s quite a bit, but you learn a lot about what you REALLY need after your first trip!"

The couple welcomed Lyla, who is their first child together, around August of this year. Schwarzenegger reportedly gave birth to her daughter at St. John’s Hospital in Santa Monica, California.

Her family members had been spotted visiting her home after she had given birth. Her brother Patrick had been videoed holding a gift tied in pink ribbon.

Pratt shared a sweet message and collage of photos of Schwarzenegger's birthday.

In her Instagram post, she shared her favorite products and brands for different baby item categories such as "diapers etc.," "clothing," and "gear."

The new mom asked her followers to share their own favorite products and for suggestions of what baby items to take along when traveling. She wrote:

"I compiled some of my faves for packing with baby. Swipe to see brands and links in my story! (Will put in highlight too!) leave any other baby travel suggestions in comments too ?"

Schwarzenegger is not the only parent to post photos of Lyla. Both parents have opted not to show her face when posting photos of the baby.

Pratt shared a sweet message and collage of photos of Schwarzenegger's birthday where he covered Lyla's face with a cartoon Santa.

The couple has been married for over a year. Her father, Arnold Schwarzenegger, was actually surprised that she would marry an actor as he thought she never would.

Lyla is Pratt's second child. He had his first child, son Jack, with his ex-wife Anna Faris. Pratt is well known for his roles in "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Jurassic World."
