RHOA Star Porsha Williams Asks for Prayers as She Mourns the Death of Her Beloved Aunt Autherine

"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Porsha Williams is grieving the loss of a family member. She took to Instagram to express her sadness and ask for prayers from her fans.

On January 8, reality star Porsha Williams shared a piece of sad news on her Instagram. She is mourning her Aunt Autherine, who passed away earlier in the day. Alongside photos of her aunt, she wrote:

"My heart is so heavy... Please pray for her husband and beautiful daughters."

TOTALLY HEARTBROKEN

The "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" star added that she was "totally heartbroken." She wrote a prayer asking God to comfort and bless their devastated family.

Her first post featured two photos of her aunt - one solo shot where she wears a dark fluffy blouse and another one with a male companion. Her late aunt looked happy in both pictures.

In another post, Williams shared five photos of her aunt taken during fun family gatherings, as well as a throwback photo. In the caption, Williams said she would cherish the memories she shared with her aunt.

Williams' fans quickly took to the comment section to express their condolences and sympathies. Many assured the reality star of their prayers. Several users dropped praying emojis.

Williams is quite familiar with grief, as she also mourned the death of her father, Hosea Williams II, in 1998.

A SERIES OF DEATHS

It is a difficult time for the reality star as she also lost two loved ones last year. She confirmed on her Instagram the passing of her Uncle Torrey and Aunt Louve.

She paid tribute to both relatives, recalling the memories and lessons they shared with her. She reflected on how her aunt and uncle helped mold her into the person she is now.

Williams is quite familiar with grief, as she also mourned the death of her father, Hosea Williams II, in 1998. He died of complications from a bone marrow transplant. He was 43.

Aside from deaths in the family, the RHOA cast member has dealt with other difficult personal issues. A year ago, her then-fiancé Dennis McKinley admitted to cheating on her.

In December, she revealed that she and McKinley had split. She also got arrested in July while joining a protest against the murder of Breonna Taylor in Louisville.

Nonetheless, Williams also has her share of joyful moments with her family. In December, she celebrated her little daughter Pilar Jhena's milestone - getting weaned off the bottle.
