In one rare occurrence, former First Lady Michelle Obama uploaded a makeup-free and natural hair selfie to start the week off in celebration of her birthday, and fans couldn’t help but react!

Former First Lady Michelle Obama celebrated her 57th birthday on January 17, 2021. She honored the day by sharing a black-and-white photo of herself where she was seen looking natural.

The former first lady had no makeup on, and her long curly hair was left in its natural state. She thanked her fans and others for their birthday messages in the caption of her post.

Referring to the outbreak of the novel Coronavirus disease and other issues, she noted how difficult the past year had been. She then encouraged her followers to take care of themselves and said:

The former first lady’s husband, President Barack Obama, 59, also took the time to honor his wife on the special day. Taking to Instagram and Twitter, he shared a different throwback photo of Michelle.

In the caption, he wished his partner, love, and best friend a happy birthday. He also noted how every moment with her had been a blessing; before concluding the post by declaring his love for her.
