For many fans of golf, Justin Thomas is the most exciting young player to come along since Tiger Woods burst on the scene and transformed the sport. Justin won his first tournament at 22 and has been the man to watch ever since.

Golf is part of the young and brilliant Justin's legacy. Both his father and grandfather were professional golf players, making him the third generation to tee up.

THE FAMILY BUSINESS

Justin is a Kentucky native. His father, Mike Thomas, was a professional golfer, as was his grandfather, Paul Thomas, who competed in the 1962 U.S. Open and once played with the iconic Arnold Palmer.

The genes and all those years watching and playing the family sport paid off, and at the age of 16, he was competing in the Wyndham Championship on the PGA Tour even though he was a junior in high school.

It might be fair to say that if anyone is to "blame," it is Justin's father, Mike, who worked as a pro in a golf club. Mike had his son out on the course and teeing up at the age of two.

The talented teen quickly made his mark alongside the pros. Justin attended college at the University of Alabama, where he won six victories for the team and the Haskins Award as the most promising college golfer.

Justin’s mom, Jani is her son's biggest fan and often travels from tournament to tournament to watch him play.
