The Post: Naya Rivera's LA Home Sold for $2.69M after Just 9 Days on the Market

Last year actress Naya Rivera sadly passed away in a drowning accident. Now almost six months after her death, her million-dollar Los Feliz house has been sold in record time.

Naya Rivera died unexpectedly on July 8, 2020, at the age of 33. The “Glee” star’s body was found several days after her disappearance from Lake Piru during a boat ride with her young son.

Little Josey Dorsey, 5, was found asleep and floating in the boat by himself with his mother nowhere in sight. Her death was ruled as an accidental drowning, and her child is now left with his father, Ryan Dorsey.

Rivera bought her Los Feliz home in 2018 after her divorce from her ex-husband, Ryan, 37. On January 6, 2021, the actress’s newly renovated, four-bedroom, three-bathroom home went on sale.

The 2,762-square-feet house has been labeled as a Smart Home. It features a Sonos sound system, a designer open kitchen, a newly installed pool, and French classic living room architecture.

The kitchen is furnished with Italian Carrara marble, has an Italian Bertazzoni range, and a hidden Bosch fridge. The actress had lived alone with her son in the home, but little Josey is now living with his father.

Rivera’s newly built home is a two-story abode with an oversized patio that flows off to the master bedroom. It has a farmhouse master bath, a laundry room, and natural white oak hardwood floors.

The kitchen also has custom cabinets and an antique smoked-glass pantry. The abode’s family room has two bay windows that give a stunning view of the property's luscious landscaping.

According to “The Post,” the house sold for $2,695,000 in a record nine days after it hit the market. “Daily Mail” reported that the home sold for nearly $100,000 extra than how much Rivera initially paid.

Los Angeles property records revealed that an offer had been made and accepted on January 15, 2021. The home was listed by Nikki and Robb Friedman from Keller Williams Realty Calabasas.

January 12, 2021, would’ve been Rivera’s 34th birthday, and her ex-husband made sure to commemorate it. Ryan shared a touching tribute to her on his Instagram account with a black-and-white family photo.

Besides being famous for her work on “Glee,” the actress appeared as a dancer-turned-school administrator, Colette Jones, on “Step Up: High Water.” Rivera also had a guest role on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”

Some people might also recognize her from “Baywatch,” “The Bernie Mac Show,” and “Family Matters.” Rivera also enjoyed starring in B2K’s music video and as a contestant on “American Idol.”
