Southern Korean actress Song Yoo-Jung has tragically passed away at 26. Yoo-Jung was famous for her roles in the television show "Make A Wish" and "School 2017."

Southern Korean actress Song Yoo-Jung has tragically passed away. The talented star was 26 years old at the time of her demise. The heartbreaking news of her death was announced via a statement by Sublime Artist Agency, which read:

"Song Yoojung [...] was always our friend who gave happiness with a bright smile and was a wonderful actor who was acting with a hotter passion."

The announcement concluded with an appreciation for Yoo-Jung's contribution to their agency and urged fans to put her loved ones in prayer. According to reports, she died on Saturday, and a funeral ceremony has already happened.

At a young age, Yoo-Jung made an impact in the industry. She was famous for her stellar roles in the Korean television series "Make A Wish" from 2014 to 2015 and "School 17" in 2017. She starred in the former as the character, Han Da-won.

She once featured as a muse in the music video of Standing Egg's hit song, "From Friends To Lovers." Her other acting credits include "Golden Rainbow "and the web series "Dear My Name." Yoo-Jung was multifaceted.

Yoo-Jung is among the celebrities that the world has, unfortunately, had to say goodbye to in 2021.

Away from acting, she was a renowned model working for brands like The Body Shop, Baskin-Robins, and Estee Lauder. She was also an activist using her platform to advocate for people living with disabilities.

While Yoo-Jung's cause of death hasn't been announced, reports reveal that there has been a rise in suicide rates among young celebrities. In 2017, pop singer Kim Jong-hyun passed away at 27.

Also, in 2019 musician Sulli of the band f(x) was found lifeless in her home at 25. Variety reports that the Korean entertainment industry puts a lot of pressure on its young stars.

Yoo-Jung is among the celebrities that the world has, unfortunately, had to say goodbye to in 2021. On Saturday, broadcasting veteran Larry King passed away at 87. According to his sixth wife, the icon passed from COVID-19 complications.

Other stars that have sadly passed away include baseball legend Hank Aaron, Randy Parton, Harry Brant, Mira Furlan, Joanne Rogers, John Reily, Michael Apted, and many more. May their souls rest in peace.
