Savannah Guthrie Dubs January the 13th Month for 2020 under a Picturesque Snap of Snowy Forest

"Today" co-host Savannah Guthrie has reason to believe January, which came to an end on Sunday, is only an extension of 2020—a year characterized by sad occurrences.

Taking to Instagram, Guthrie posted a picturesque photo of the beautiful sky, showing breathtaking streaks of colors that came with the golden sunset.

Right below the setting sun was an open field that featured tall trees reaching high up in the sky and creating a stark contrast against the white snow.

Guthrie accompanied the beautiful picture with a caption saying goodbye to January and expressing how she felt about the month. The television host wrote:

"Goodbye, 13th month of 2020."

As expected, the post racked up several reactions from some of Guthrie's 900,000+ followers who took to the comments section, sharing their thoughts about the caption.

While some users agreed that January was indeed as tough as 2020, others confidently commented that 2021 would bring better things than the previous year.

Since welcoming her second child, Guthrie has constantly given fans a glimpse into her role as a mother.

Guthrie's new post is not the first time she is getting love from social media fans in recent times. The television host recently melted hearts after penning a sweet birthday tribute to her mother, Nancy.

Guthrie described Nancy as her "beautiful mom" while thanking the older woman for holding her hand and providing support through every stage of her life.

The television host then lamented about how she had not been able to hug Nancy for a long time due to the COVID-19 pandemic social distancing guidelines.

While few followers also penned sweet birthday wishes to the older woman, others could not help but notice the striking resemblance between Nancy and Guthrie's six-year-old daughter, Vale.

Guthrie shares her daughter with her husband, Michael Fieldman, whom she married in March 2014. They also share son Charles who was born in December 2016.
