During a recent interview, veteran actors Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen recently opened up about the first time they met. From all indications, their love story has always been meant to be!

Hollywood actors Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen have been married for 25 years, and now, the lovebirds are taking a trip down memory lane to the first time they met.

For People's first Love Issue, actors Danson and Steenburgen recalled meeting while filming the 1993 movie "Pontiac Moon," where they played husband and wife.

Interestingly, when the Hollywood couple met, they were both recently divorced and had completely given up on getting into new romantic relationships respectively.

Despite their lack of interest in dating, they formed a great friendship, with Steenburgen admitting that she could not have as much fun when Danson was absent in a gathering.

The pair's friendship would later take a turn after a canoe and picnic trip organized by Danson. According to him, they both came back smitten with each other, and thus, their love story began.

Two years into their relationship, Danson proposed to his beau on her birthday—while she was filming a movie. On October 7, 1995, the couple said their "I dos."

Steenburgen describes having a blended family as a remarkable experience, adding that they are both very in love with their four children.

Since getting married, Danson and Steenburgen have experienced nothing but bliss, and even now, after twenty-five years, the couple is still as in love as their earliest days.

Speaking about their love, Steenburgen described her husband as a beautiful human being while adding that she would not mind going 100 more lifetimes with him.

In a similar light, Danson wishes to spend the rest of his life with Steenburgen. The actor noted that even though there will be difficult times, he still wants to experience love with his beloved wife.

Though Danson and Steenburgen don't have kids together, their previous marriages yielded two children each, with whom they have successfully created a happy blended family.
