In a recent interview, "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Melissa Gorga opened up on her marital struggles and revealed that they started before the pandemic.

Like millions of couples in the world, "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Melissa Gorga understands that marriage can be difficult, and it takes a lot of effort to keep it working.

The reality star opened up on her marital woes, which she said started before the pandemic. Although the couple is standing strong, the 41-year-old revealed that they had some bumps on the way.

In the trailer for the upcoming season, the "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star was at the center of a cheating rumor, but the actress opened up on how her marriage is faring.

Gorga said that there was no denying that her marriage went through a difficult one and a half year, which began before the pandemic.

She revealed that the center of their crisis was down to how her husband Joe gets uncomfortable with how independent she gets.

According to reports, the 41-year-old reality star's husband, Joe, was not totally comfortable with her opening her Montclair boutique, and Gorga hates the envy.

The pandemic taught her to be okay with what she has.

On her part, Gorga feels that it should not be a struggle on Joe's part that she is getting more independent. She dislikes the fact that her freedom threatens him.

The mother of three revealed that the couple is always fighting to get things rolling and working. According to her, they get raw and honest when it comes to settling issues.

The couple shares three children, daughter Antonia, 15, and sons Gino, 13, and Joey, 10, and have spent 16 years together, which the reality star said she is proud of.

Gorga believes that she and Joe have done well for themselves, they have been on reality TV for 11 years and still fight hard for their marriage. She gives them credit for keeping it real and working.

The actress admits that it has been a struggle for the couple to keep things together, especially in the last two years, but she gives them a pat on the back for being real and keeping the kids happy.

According to her, they are one of the longest "Housewives of New Jersey" couples, and that says a lot. On having more children, Gorga said that the time has passed for them to have another kid. The pandemic taught her to be okay with what she has.

Gorga had once revealed during an interview that she and Joe were considering going for baby number four and even had her eggs frozen just in case they went active on the plan, but the actress seems to have had a change of heart.
