Bindi Irwin Turns off Comments on Social Media after Recent Backlash over Her Pregnancy Photo
Bindi Irwin has found a way to shut trolls up, and she did it by disabling the comments section of her social media post after receiving backlash for her maternity shoot.
To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Bindi Irwin shared a picture of herself and her husband Chandler Powell all cozied up as they stood in front of a large signboard that bore a strong message which said: “Let’s give them something to taco ‘bout.”
The image shared on Instagram showed the lovey-dovey couple wearing matching colored jeans. While Bindi had on a darker shade, Chandler’s was a light blue shade.
Bindi combined her jeans with a black long-sleeved sweatshirt that hid her baby bump for the shoot, while Chandler opted for a navy blue long-sleeved shirt that hugged his muscular frame.
The pair looked adorable in their classic footwear as they smiled and looked into each other’s eyes with Chandler’s arms around Bindi’s shoulders. The post had the words:
“Over 7 years of loving this handsome guy. My forever Valentine and incredible husband. @chandlerpowell.”
Although the picture had over 154,000 likes, there were no comments as Bindi had disabled the comments section of her Instagram page.
The reason for disabling the comments section stems from the numerous backlash she and her husband had received in the past weeks.
Bindi and Chandler had invited their family for their babymoon in Uluru.

A few weeks ago, the “Crikey! It’s the Irwins” star had shared a picture of herself and her husband recreating a picture her father and mother had taken. Bindi shared two images; one was of Chandler kissing her baby bump.
The second image was that of her late father Steve Irwin kissing her mother, Terri’s stomach when she was pregnant for Bindi’s younger brother Robert. The photo was captioned with the words:
“Recreating a very special moment. Third trimester love. ❤️.”

While the family and over a million others who liked the picture might have felt it was cute, some had harsh and nasty words to say to the couple.
Someone said they wished Bindi and Chandler stopped what they were doing and start living their own lives as their replication was getting kind of creepy.
Another person said, “this is becoming sick,” while another person said what they were doing was wrong. Another reason for the backlash stemmed from the fact that Bindi and Chandler had invited their family for their babymoon in Uluru.
While the critics might have several things to say, Bindi is not for all that negative energy, and her choosing to disable her comments section is proving that.
