TMZ: Kim Kardashian Files for Divorce from Her Husband of 6 Years Kanye West

Star entertainer Kim Kardashian has officially filed for divorce from music icon Kanye West. The couple plans to visit the courtroom after six years of marriage and many moments of back and forths.

“KUWTK” star Kim Kardashian and her rapper husband, Kanye West, have finally decided to call it quits after Kardashian filed for divorce. Court documents show that the decision was an amicable one.

The TV personality has requested joint legal and physical custody of their four kids, and West had agreed to this. The couple signed a prenup at the beginning of their marriage, and neither is willing to contend that.

To this effect, their property settlement poses no issue. The pair has also shown cooperation concerning co-parenting and are in a good place regarding that.

The documents filed by Kardashian’s lawyer Laura Wasser had no indications pointing to the date of separation. Although their official date of divorce was not stated, Kardashian and West have been apart for months.

While the star rapper stayed in Wyoming, Kardashian and the kids remained in California. The couple’s woes became glaring during the last quarter of 2020 when West had a media meltdown and made some controversial declarations.

The pair first met in the early 2000s when Kardashian was romantically linked with Kris Humphries. She and West would later meet again in 2010 and start their romantic journey.

It seems the star has made a final decision about her marital journey with Kanye West.

The iconic rapper proposed to his woman in 2014, renting out a stadium and an orchestra. The proposal clip was aired on “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” Through years of marital bliss, the couple constantly defended each other on social media.

West would share sweet words about his wife from time to time, and she, in turn, defended some of his choices when trolls clamped down on him.

In months leading to their official separation news, multiple sources shared how they struggled to keep their marital issues private. Kardashian, 40, was also said to have been bracing herself for the inevitable while taking things slow.

It seems the star has finally made a decision about her marital journey with West. Hopefully, everything works out and they can parent their kids as one loving unit.
