'Counting On' Stars Joseph & Kendra Duggar Introduce Their Newborn & 3rd Child, Brooklyn

Brooklyn Praise Duggar was born on February 19, making Joseph and Kendra Duggar the parents of three children.

Joseph and Kendra Duggar took to Instagram to announce that they had welcomed their daughter and third child, Brooklyn Praise Duggar, into the world on February 19, 2021.

26-year-old Joseph and his 22-year-old wife are also parents to Garrett David, 2, and Addison Renee, 1, who are now joined by their newest sister Brooklyn Praise.

FAMILY OF FIVE

The happy couple shared the exciting arrival of their newborn on the social media page. The photo shows Joseph and Kendra sitting next to one another, holding a sleeping Brooklyn Praise in their arms. The caption reads:

"We are so excited to introduce... Brooklyn Praise Duggar 7lbs. 3oz. 20 1/4in Born at 7:48pm 2/19/21. Feeling so grateful and blessed?"

The couple and their new daughter were also featured in a TLC video that also shows the parents with Brooklyn as they shared the details of her arrival with their fans.

TOUGH START

The new mom admitted that the first night with Brooklyn was not an easy one but was still filled with immense gratitude that her third child was finally here.

Joseph got down on one knee to ask the big question at his sister, Joy-Anna's wedding, with Kendra answering a resounding yes.

The proud dad was the one that found his new daughter's name in a baby book whilst Kendra was still pregnant. Joseph revealed that the name seemed like the right fit when he came across it.

GENDER REVEAL

The "Counting On" stars didn't keep everyone in suspense but revealed the gender of their baby before she arrived. Brooklyn is the couple's second daughter, which means that their family officially has more girls than boys now. The pair said:

"We are so excited to announce that our tiebreaker is a GIRL ? The boys are outnumbered now! We are already in love with her and cannot wait to meet her!!!"

Joesph and Kendra couldn't hide their excitement about expecting another girl saying that their other two children were ecstatic to have another sibling join them.

DOCUMENTING THE JOURNEY

Joseph and Kendra's love story and their family's growth have been documented by TLC from the beginning, allowing fans to follow along as they journeyed towards married life and parenthood.

The Duggar boy met Kendra at church as the two were actually family friends. Joseph got down on one knee to ask the big question at his sister, Joy-Anna's wedding, with Kendra answering a resounding yes.

Kendra's family was also involved in their journey to marriage as her father, who is a pastor, was the one to walk her down the aisle and officiate their ceremony.

Being able to spend time alone after exchanging their vows was a special upgrade for Kendra and Joseph. They weren't allowed to go on dates without chaperones or text without including their parents, pre-marriage.
