Pink's Daughter Willow, 9, Makes Her Debut on Billboard Charts with Duet 'Cover Me in Sunshine'

Willow Sage Hart is a little sunshine herself, and she made her mom proud by making her debut on Billboard Charts featuring her mother Pink earlier this month.

Pink's 9-year-old daughter Willow is a star in the making. The pop singer collaborated with Willow on "Cover Me in Sunshine" on rankings dated February 27.

According to Billboard.com, the track earned 2 million US streams and sold 11,000 downloads in the week ending February 18. The song made it to the No.4 on its arrival on the all-genre Digital Song Sales chart.

WILLOW & MOM ON THE BILLBOARD CHARTS

Willow herself shined and made it to the No.23 on the Emerging Artists chart. Her superstar mother also has a long history on Billboard’s charts.

Pink has reportedly tallied 33 career entries on the Billboard Hot 100. She also joins other celebrities who have broken records on the platform with their kids.

These include the power couple Beyonce and Jay-Z and their daughter Blue Ivy Carter. Country star Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus, rapper Lil Wayne and Reginae Carter.

The list goes on to English natives, Ozzy and Kelly Osbourne, Master P and Lil Romeo, Elvis and Lisa Marie Presley, and last but not least, Frank and Nancy Sinatra.

THEIR SONG PERFORMANCE

In the song, ‘Cover me in sunshine –shower me with good times – tell me that the world’s been spinning since the beginning and everything’ll be alright – Cover me in sunshine,' the mother and daughter duo sing in the chorus.

Pink reportedly sang the two verses and chorus backing vocals provided by her child. Willow sang the backend of the outro section, which is the chorus melody, all alone.

Willow’s mom first shared a TikTok video of Willow performing the song on February 8. At the time, she took a video of her singing in the kitchen while she stood in front of the camera.

After her performance, her mom was impressed by her rendition. Pink then turned the camera towards herself, giving off a vibe that Willow gets a nod for the beautiful singing.

The songwriter shares her daughter with husband Carey Hart. Since she introduced her to the world, Willow has been blowing her fans with her incredible, mature singing ability.

She also performed on “The Disney Holiday Singalong” with her mom in November. Willow’s not only known for her vocals, but she is also famous for her punk rock hair.

The young sensation picked up the hairdo from both her parents. She shaved a mohawk hair makeover back in September 2019 and is currently sporting rock and roll-approved pixie cut.

Willow is also a big sister to younger brother Jameson Hart. She was born in June 2011, and her proud mom announced her arrival into the world on Twitter.

At the time, her mom revealed that she is gorgeous, just like her father. More than five months later, the couple welcomed their son, and the "Try" singer took to Instagram to announce the news.
