AN EFFORTLESS BEAUTY
While on her relaxing trip, Shannon didn't forget to bring her stylish clothes. In the photo, she donned a white dress with a thigh-high slit on the side.
The dress, lined with thin, light blue details, looked perfect for the Afterglow Multimedia, LLC founder, who's known for her effortless beauty and style. She captioned her post:
"Horses, beaches, sunsets & tings."
A SELFIE WITH HER HORSE
She looked divine while posing on her horse by the breathtaking beach and blue sky. She also took pictures with her brown horse beside another white horse.
Shannon didn't let the opportunity pass without taking a selfie with her horse, which was with her throughout her Quintana Roo trip. The horse willingly posed beside her.
Many users expressed in the comment section that Shannon looked charming in her pictures. One fan noted that the Sumanah founder has a "beautiful spirit."
Shannon is one of two children of John and his ex-wife Lilian Lehman. The former couple also has a son named K.C., who is also a screenwriter like his sister.
Before she found her purpose in the healing arts, Shannon worked her way up in Hollywood. She was an intern for renowned filmmaker Spike Lee for the film "Mo Better Blues."
She soon became the director of BET's original programs.
JOHN AS HER INFLUENCE
It was the "West Wing" star who influenced her to explore the business side of Hollywood. When Shannon was a little girl, John would take him to the set of his projects such as "Good Times" and "Coming To America."
After her internship, Shannon took on a production assistant role in MTV's first hip-hop show, "Yo! MTV Raps." She shortly became an associate producer.
After her MTV accomplishments, Shannon took on a segment producer role for "America's Most Wanted," an Emmy Award-winning show hosted by John Walsh.
For her exceptional talent in producing shows, the BET Network hired Shannon to become a producer and, later on, as a show creator. She soon became the director of the leading African-American network's original shows.
