Carrie Underwood Shares a Sweet Photo Hugging Her Son Isaiah as She Celebrates His 6th Birthday

American singer and songwriter Carrie Underwood's first son, Isaiah, turned six over the weekend, and she celebrated him in grand style with a lovely post on Instagram.

Carrie Underwood's son Isaiah's sixth birthday did not pass without notice as his parents pulled out the stops to celebrate his special day with him.

Underwood made a post on her Instagram page, sharing pictures from Isaiah's big day, including one that showed his beautiful birthday cake.

The first picture in the singer's post showed the cake, which was designed with the Power Rangers Ninja Steel theme and including swords, a Power Rangers Ninja icon, and the faces of all the Power Ranges on and around.

The cake also had the number "6" on its top, signifying the celebrant's age. Its base featured Isaiah's name and birthday wishes for him.

The second picture was a black-and-white snap that showed her embracing her son tightly. She captioned the post:

"Today, we celebrate Isaiah...because today, he is 6 whole years old! Isaiah, you are kind, funny, smart, the best big brother, a lover of cuddles..."

Underwood added that her son enjoys making people feel good and loves making them laugh. She said God has given him so many gifts, adding that she is grateful for being his mother.

The award-winning singer's fans joined her in celebrating her son's birthday, with some of them admiring and complimenting his birthday cake, which Ivey Cake, a Tennessee-based bakery, baked.

Isaiah is one of Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher's two cute sons. The adorable couple also shares a two-year-old son, Jacob Bryan.

The couple does not overshare their kids' pictures on their social media pages, but the glimpses of the boys that fans get to see show how sweet, precious and cute they are.

Underwood and Fisher, a former National Hockey League player, share the sweetest love story. They met through a mutual friend and Underwood's bassist, Mark Childers, who introduced them.

At the time, Underwood was not looking for a long-distance relationship and was skeptical about a blind date, fearing that it would turn awkward. She suggested that they should meet backstage at one of her concerts.

When they did, the chemistry between them was unbelievable, and she texted Childers that Fisher was good-looking. Fisher also felt Underwood was more beautiful in person than television made her.

They did not speak in person again until three months later though they communicated via telephone. They went on their first date on New Year's Eve 2008 and got engaged in 2009.

The couple tied the knot on July 10, 2010, and continue to go strong almost a decade after, sharing beautiful moments and going through tough times together.
