American actress and dancer Vanessa Bell Calloway and her husband Anthony Calloway went on an early birthday getaway. She shared pictures showing some of their beautiful moments on her Instagram page.

Actress Vanessa Bell Calloway turns 64 on March 20 but she has embarked on an early birthday with her husband Anthony Calloway due to her busy schedule later in the month.

She shared several pictures and a video on her Instagram page showing some of her and Anthony's beautiful moments during their getaway.

The first picture on the actress's post showed her smile as she posed in a red swimsuit, flaunting her curly brown locks and gold earrings. In the second photo, she and Anthony, who donned a red T-shirt, posed together flashing broad smiles.

In the video she shared, Vanessa revealed she went on an early birthday getaway because she would be working on her birthday. She also gave a view of the beach where she and her husband spent quality time and expressed love to her fans.

She also shared a picture showing her toned legs while relaxing on a floating device. Beside her legs was a checkered hat, which had dark shades placed on it.

Another photo showed the actress posing in a beach chair, looking stunning in a black swimsuit as she flaunted her curves. Another snapshot showed her on a floating device, clad in a black swimsuit and holding out a glass.

She originally auditioned for the lead but was cast in the smaller role because of colorism.

The beautiful actress also shared a picture that showed her sitting on a beach chair. She wore a colorful floral dress and flaunted her gorgeous legs.

Her gallery's last snapshot showed her in a red swimsuit, flashing a smile as she posed with her shades. In the post's caption, she thanked Anthony for taking her on her early birthday getaway, adding:

Vanessa and Anthony celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in 2018. Despite her successful career, she sees Anthony, an anesthesiologist, as her biggest blessing and accomplishment.

The couple, whose love continues to grow daily, shares two daughters, Ashley and Alexandra, with whom Vanessa has a close bond. The actress displayed this bond when she joined her daughters to perform an epic dance after her 60th birthday in 2017.

Vanessa is notable for starring as Imani, Eddie Murphy's arranged wife, in "Coming to America." With the famed film's sequel set for release on Amazon Prime on March 5, she recently spoke about the original film's casting.

The soon-to-be 64-year-old said she originally auditioned for the lead but was cast in the smaller role because of colorism. Vanessa explained that when white people hire Blacks in movies, they sometimes want a certain look.

She claimed the film's team wanted a light-skinned girl, and she was not light enough. Murphy had the final say on who played Lisa and chose Sharl Headly for the role. Despite not getting Lisa's role, Calloway remains grateful for featuring in the movie.
