Catherine Zeta-Jones Talks about Her Life in Lockdown & Gushes over Welcoming a New Puppy
"The Mask of Zorro" star Catherine Zeta-Jones recently opened up about her life amid the COVID-19 pandemic and revealed that she welcomed a new puppy. The actress also discussed her latest film project.
Movie star Catherine Zeta-Jones in a recent interview, spoke about her life amid the quarantine in 2021 and what she has been up to during the pandemic. The interview clip opened with the actress looking lovely in a sheer blouse.
Her luscious hair came cascading down in waves. When asked by the host how the new year has been for her, Zeta-Jones opened up, saying that she felt lucky to have her family around.

The actress revealed that her kids, Carys and Dylan, returned home. She noted that being within the walls of her home with her husband, Michael Douglas, and their kids made her feel safe, as opposed to going outside, which felt vulnerable.
Zeta-Jones relayed that it felt good knowing her kids were protective of her and Michael because of their ages. The star mom added that the two did a great job.
The interviewer then discussed the addition of a new grandchild, Ryder Douglas, into the family. Zeta-Jones did not hold back her excitement, noting that the newborn was a welcoming one who came out kicking.
During an Instagram Q&A session back in June, the 51-year-old opened up on how she and her loved ones managed the lockdown.
Alongside having a new grandchild, the actress gushed about having a new puppy. She described the new pet as "her third child" and admitted that having a baby and a puppy was a treat she enjoyed.
Once in an interview on "Live with Kelly And Ryan," Zeta-Jones sweetly poked fun at her husband of almost 21 years with a comment about his genes. The "Entrapment" star confessed that was particularly in awe of her husband's genes.
While discussing her father-in-law, Kirk Douglas, who died at the age of 103 in February 2020, she pointed out that the legend lived a full and impactful life.
However, that made her conclude that Michael's genes were associated with having a long healthy life. She joked about the Douglas family longevity, saying that she didn't sign up for being with Michael until he was 103.

The family-of-four enjoyed precious family moments at their home in Irvington, New York. The Georgian-style mansion featured a swimming pool, fitness area, and library, among other recreational areas.
Presently Zeta-Jones is back to work, showing enthusiasm about her role on "Prodigal Son." The star has been a fan of the show for a while, and now she is glad that she would be on it.
Another side attraction is that she would be working alongside Michael Sheen. She and the actor came from the same circle of friends but haven't always been mutual.
