Anderson Cooper Helps Fundraise Money for Kids Battling Cancer with Cute Snaps of His Son Wyatt
Broadcast journalist Anderson Cooper took to Instagram to remember his dear friend's daughter, who lost her life to cancer; Cooper noted how fortunate he is that his one and only son is healthy.
Anderson Cooper shared on social media that Andrew Kacynski's daughter died from brain cancer. He noted how other kids, just like Francesca Kaczynski, are battling life-threatening illnesses at a young age.
"As a new parent, I am lucky that my son is healthy, but there are a lot of kids facing life-threatening illnesses. Francesca Kaczynski died of a rare brain cancer when she was just nine months old," he wrote.

GOOD CAUSE FOR FRANCESCA
The 53-year-old dad revealed that he and his television news channel are honoring little Francesca. “In her honor, we at CNN are raising money for kids with cancer,” he said.
Cooper then explained how individuals willing to help could make a purchase. "Be part of #TeamBeans! Proceeds from the sale of these beanies go to @DanaFarber," he wrote.
Along with the post, he shared series of snaps with his son Wyatt. The first photo showed the father and son duo posing, looking dead serious at the camera with their blue eyes.
Cooper wore glasses and a black beanie with the words #TeamBeans embroidered with a matching T-shirt. Wyatt wore a blue striped, white sweater as he leaned in for a close shot.
Another snap showed Cooper feeding his baby boy while looking into his eyes. Wyatt, in return, gazed at his dad and his tiny hand on his chin. A third shows the pair offering great smiles at the camera, with little Wyatt modeling the beanie.
HER TRAGIC DEATH
The “60 Minutes" star remembered his colleague Kaczynski's daughter, who died on Christmas Eve. According to People, Thursday would have been her 1st birthday.
Kaczynski shared his little girl with his wife, Rachel Louise Ensign. According to the outlet, their daughter's death came three months after the award-winning journalist had previously divulged that she was diagnosed with a sporadic and very aggressive rhabdoid brain tumor.
At the time of her death, the CNN reporter reportedly broke the tragic news on Twitter, writing that he and Ensign, a "Wall Street Journal" reporter, were heartbroken over the loss of their baby girl.
Kaczynski wrote that Francesca died in the arms of both her parents. He added that they are grateful to have known her love and noted that they love her.
COOPER CO-PARENTING WITH EX-BOYFRIEND
It is the same case with Cooper, who took the initiative to keep her memory alive with the cause. While raising Wyatt, the news anchor revealed last month that his ex-partner Benjamin Maisani whom he co-parents with lives with them.
According to Oprah Magazine, Cooper admitted that the situation is weird but works for them. He reportedly disclosed that they still live together because they get along well. The pair broke up in March 2018 after three years of dating are doting dads to little Wyatt.
