MOVING ON
Amidst the loss of his wife, the reality star has found a new joy. Duane has a new woman in his life, Francie Frane, who he met less than a year after Beth passed away from cancer.
Duane hasn't wasted any time, already popping the big question asking Frane to marry him. The couple bonded over their mutual understanding of loss as Frane also lost her husband. Frane shared about their special relationship, saying:
“We understood the pain that the other one was feeling and (in) those tough days and moments, we helped each other stand up.”
NOT ANOTHER BETH
Although Duane regards his new fiancé as a gift from his late wife, he does not view her as a replacement for Beth. The reality star has emphasized that no one could replace Beth and her legacy.
Frane has also shared that it is not her intention to fill the space left behind by Dog's late wife and respects the relationship that they had as well as the role that Beth played in Dog's work.
Their shared faith was a major connection between Frane and Duane as the two acknowledge God's hand in bringing them together and allowing their paths to cross at the right time.
Frane has helped out with some of the administrative tasks at Duane's business, but only to better understand his professional life first hand rather than seeing it on the show.
