'American Idol' Alum Lauren Alaina Cancels Concerts after Testing Positive for COVID-19
Lauren Alaina was recently forced to cancel a concert after testing positive for COVID-19. The country star is, however, currently in quarantine, trying to make a full recovery.
Country singer Lauren Alaina tested positive for COVID-19, causing her to cancel an appearance she was expected to make at a March 20 concert.
In a statement released on her Twitter, Alaina explained that she would not be able to make the show which was scheduled to hold in Lexington, Kentucky.

The singer noted that she is currently in quarantine while expressing her disappointment over her diagnosis and unexpected absence from the show.
She, however, encouraged fans to attend the event and noted that it would cheer her up if they send her videos and pictures from the show. Alaina concluded:
"Please go to the show tonight and celebrate my friends Jon Pardi, Jordan Davis, Travis Denning, and Priscilla Block."
The event, an acoustic show, had a guest list of about 15 percent of the venue, Rupp Arena, and mandated attendees to wear face masks and observe social distancing.
Alaina's COVID-19 diagnosis is not the first medical issue she has had in recent times. Last April, the singer broke two of her toes and took to social media to share the news with fans.
Alaina was first shot into fame when she emerged as a runner in season 10 of the popular singing competition show "American Idol."
There she won the hearts of many with her beautiful voice and has since gone on to build a successful career for herself.
Though it was not until 2011 that Alaina came into the spotlight, she had always had a passion for singing. Her old boss reportedly once recalled her singing often while working.
Time and time again, the county singer proved herself to be an incredible singer, but this comes as no surprise, seeing that her father, JJ Suddeth is also a talented musician.
While Alaina might now be a big country star, the singer is pretty much like every other regular person. Her favorite food is pizza, and she has a pet turtle weirdly named Squirt.
However, unlike most people, Alaina has a weird pet peeve—poor tipping. The singer's mother once worked as a waitress, so she understands how much a good tip could mean.
Despite the fame and fortune, Alaina remains deeply connected to her background and humble beginnings. Little wonder fans can't help but love her!
