'This Is Us' Star Mandy Moore Is Back at Work One Month after Giving Birth to Her Son August

Mandy Moore shared a recent selfie at work only one month after delivering her firstborn: “Mom is BACK at work!!!”

Throughout her career, Mandy Moore has shown extraordinary talent and professionalism. As young as 14, she already launched her career in the music industry and later moved to on-screen acting.

Some of her films include “The Princess Diaries,” “Rapunzel,” and the Nicholas Sparks novel-turned-film, “A Walk to Remember.” In her latest film credit, Moore took on the role of the Pearson’s family matriarch, Becca, in the series “This Is Us.”

Last month, the 36-year-old actress brought her motherly character to life as she became a first-time mom to her newborn son, August, whom she shares with her husband, actor Taylor Goldsmith.

However, Moore did not forget her career and recently posted an Instagram story of herself back at work. The post featured the actress getting her hair done while wearing a purple robe and black facemask.

In a separate Instagram story, the new mom wrote: “Beck is back. So grateful to be able to ease back into this job I love so much (and be able to bring my sweet hubby and baby to hand with me.”

Despite her young age, the multi-talented star’s cast members love and support her.

Moore first announced the birth of her son on Instagram, revealing that August came right on time on his due date. The mom first shared about her pregnancy in September with several photos of her husband.

The actress remained open about her pregnancy and fertility struggles before conceiving. She also told fans about her birth plan after the star’s platelets dropped significantly while pregnant.

Shortly after giving birth to a healthy baby boy, Moore’s “This Is Us” co-star, Milo Ventimiglia, praised Moore for being a great parent. During an interview with Us Weekly, he said:

“It’s exciting to know she’s a mom because we need moms like her in the world. We need people like Mandy and her husband, Taylor, to be raising kids.”

Moore is the youngest leading cast member on “This Is Us,” although her character is the eldest in the Pearson family. On set, she has to wear heavy makeup to add years to her appearance.

Despite her young age, the multi-talented star’s cast members love and support her. They even came to attend her Star ceremony when she received a spot on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame.
