Reality star Deshayla Harris has been confirmed as one of the two people who lost their lives in the recent Virginia Beach shooting. Here are some facts about the young television personality.

"Bad Girls Club" star Deshayla Harris was confirmed dead, making her one of two people who died in the Virginia beach shooting that left eight others injured.

During the last season of "Bad Girls Club" in 2017, Harris became famous and earned a top place with her East Coast crew. The young star was nicknamed "The Firecracker Fashionista" while on the show. Here are some facts about her.

The star was said to have shared a photo of herself on social media a few hours before the shooting incident that happened on the beach. She was said to have posed by the bar.

The reality star donned a blue shirt and biker shorts ensemble and uploaded a video of her pressing her phone and making deuces sign as she sat close to a friend. In the accompanying caption, she spoke about doing things that only elevated her.

Harris, who died at 28, was believed to have been a bystander during the shooting. Authorities reported that she was not a part of the targeted group at the mass shooting and must have been hit by a stray bullet in that regard.

The second person killed in the Virginia incident has been identified as an adult male.

The show organizers have since put out a heartfelt tribute to mourn the tragic loss of Harris. They took to Twitter and shared a statement, sending their thoughts and sympathy to her family. Her co-star star Key Hamilton also posted on Instagram.

Harris isn't the first alum of the Oxygen show to lose her life. Last year, Demitra "Mimi" Roche passed on at 34, and many were quite devastated, describing her as a kind person and a big dreamer.

In what was described as a separate shooting, the second person killed in the Virginia incident has been identified as an adult male named Donovan W Lynch. He was killed in the third shooting in an officer-involved situation.

According to reports, officers heard multiple gunshots when patrolling the area. The suspected gunman, who remains unnamed, was apprehended by an officer of the Virginia Beach police and reportedly shot.

This is not the first time Virginia has experienced devastating shooting incidents. In 2019, about 12 people were killed after 40-year-old DeWayne Craddock opened fire at Virginia beach.

Although Craddock was said to have lost his life in what became a crossfire with the police, the shooting's motive was never discovered. Many have been left to deal with the state of having no closure.
