Woman Did Not Know She Was Pregnant until She Delivered Her Baby at Home — Here's What Happened
A woman named Melissa Surgecoff of Massachusetts called 911 after feeling cramping and pain. She was in for the surprise of her life after giving birth in her bathroom without knowing she was pregnant.
A couple from Peabody, Massachusetts, has a surprising new addition to their family after a woman gave birth in her bathroom. All along, she did not know that she was pregnant.
Melissa Surgecoff and Donald Campbell were doing wedding preparations for their nuptials in June when Surgecoff started feeling intense pain in her abdomen. She was not too bothered with the pain because she battles multiple sclerosis.
However, the pains started worsening, and Campbell decided to call 911 for help. At the time, they thought she was passing a kidney stone which was responsible for the excruciating pain.
Before they knew it, she delivered a baby boy in their bathroom. The couple was shocked to see their little baby, especially since they put off having children after their 2020 wedding was delayed.
According to Campbell, when they saw the baby in the toilet, they were in total shock as it was not what they were expecting at all. He said of the scenario: "We were just kind of in shock and not expecting it, and all the sudden there's a baby in the toilet."
After being together for seven years, the couple is delighted to have a new addition to their family. Now, they have a healthy little boy named Liam, and he is happy and healthy with his surprised but happy parents in the comfort of their home.
In the UK, an expecting mom also had the shock of her life when she gave birth to two babies consecutively despite being conceived three weeks apart. Rebecca Roberts gave birth to "super twins" last September after going through fertility treatment.
Roberts ended up getting pregnant twice and carrying two babies at the same time. During her 12 weeks scan, she found out that she was not only pregnant with one baby but two!
Although it didn't feel real to her, she ultimately felt lucky to be able to have two children, especially at 38. She and her husband were longing for children, and now they easily became a family of four.
There are so many unique birth stories from around the world, and it's amazing to hear how such extraordinary circumstances have brought about life. The Royal family was not spared from such stories, as the Queen's granddaughter, Zara Tindall, also gave birth in her bathroom.

Tindall welcomed her third child, Lucas Phillip, in her bathroom. When her friends predicted they would not make it to the hospital on time, they decided to have a home birth, and midwives rushed to her aid.
