It has been exactly one year since reality star Kara Keough and her husband Kyle Bosworth tragically lost their son McCoy. However, the couple has recently been blessed with another baby boy, Vaughn.

Kara Keough welcomed her new bundle of joy with spouse Kyle Bosworth and took to Instagram to introduce baby Vaughn by sharing a gallery of adorable photos of him and the family.

The 32-year-old mom penned a lengthy sweet message on the platform noting how it is a new beginning for her and her family following McCoy's loss.

Keough captioned her post: “The day McCoy was born, I started writing a story. Our story. I don't typically like to spoil the ending, but in this case, the ending is a new beginning."

She introduced her son as McCoy and Decker's baby brother. Born Vaughn Mack Bosworth, upon his birth, the infant measured at 20.5 inches and weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces.

According to his mom, the little one was born on March 31, just six days before what should have been his big brother’s first birthday. The actress shared what her son’s name means.

“His name means ‘small/little’ and ‘hope,’” she revealed. She shared that her son's loss was a blessing in disguise, as they would not have known Vaughn and described him as their little hope.

Keough posted images of Vaughn sleeping and another with his big sister looking over him while in his crib. One shot showed the doting mom holding her baby while leaning in for a kiss on his forehead as she also shared a family portrait.

According to Today, Keough did not reveal that she was pregnant with her son until April 4. She took to Instagram and posted a snapshot of a full Easter basket with a tiny onesie draped over the edge.

The mother of two shared how last Easter was the worst experience of her life. The mom of three said she and her spouse held their first-born son in their arms as he took his last breath and called the encounter “hell.”

Before sharing the news of giving birth to Vaughn, she paid homage to McCoy, who died six days after he was born due to childbirth complications.

According to People, baby McCoy passed on after experiencing shoulder dystocia and a compressed umbilical cord during the birth. He was born on April 6, 2020.

At the time of McCoy's death, his mother took to social media to announce his departure and wrote that he surprised them all with his size and length, noting his overall perfection.

Keough donated her newborn’s organs and shared that he will forever live the hearts of those who received his life-saving gifts, including his sister Decker, 4, and his loving parents.
