Political consultant Frank Luntz opened up about his struggle to maintain his weight loss in a candid tweet. Luntz made headlines for dropping 60lbs over the past year.

Political consultant and pundit Frank Luntz is keeping it real about his weight loss journey. The television personality took to Twitter earlier this month to share his struggles with maintaining his weight. He wrote:

“For anyone who has lost weight to live, you have my respect. After dropping 60 lb, I can’t do it anymore. I can’t be this hungry every hour of every day.”

Luntz continued, letting his followers know that he appreciates their positive remarks about his dramatic transformation. However, he prefers to enjoy eating food. He concluded, joking that he would handle fat insults better than hunger.

The tweet was liked over 19,000 times and received more than 600 retweets. Fans in the comments section shared several suggestions on how he could eat to satisfaction while still maintaining his weight loss.

The 59-year-old made headlines last year when he lost 60lbs to the shock of fans. According to reports, Luntz was inspired to work on his weight after suffering a mini-stroke in early 2020.

Luntz isn’t the only public figure that has surprised fans with a dramatic weight-loss transformation.

His battle with his weight started as a child. The “What Americans Really Want ... Really” author shared that he was underweight as a child, so he was allowed the liberty to eat whatever he wanted.

However, around his 20s, he began gaining weight. In January 2020, Luntz was declared obese and weighed 238 lbs. He was also battling high blood pressure. The pundit became scared for his life.

In a bid to fix his health, Luntz sought the help of a nutritionist who helped him create a diet. He walked 10,000 steps daily and achieved his goal, reducing to 170 lbs in the space of six months.

However, once the lockdown eased, Luntz began to travel and left behind his nutritionist, and began to struggle with dieting. He explained to Today that he got frustrated one particular night and sent out the above tweet.

The television personality shared with the publication that he was grateful for the support he received from his online community but often felt unhappy and weak whenever he didn’t eat.

Luntz isn’t the only public figure that has surprised fans with a dramatic weight-loss transformation. Adele, who amazed the world with her slim figure last year, once shared that she lost 100lbs.

According to experts, some easy lifestyle tips to help with sustainable weight loss include filling up on vegetables, reducing carb intake, lifting weights, drinking more water, and reducing food portions.
