Here's How Luke Bryan Reacted to Winning 'Entertainer of the Year' Award at the ACM 2021
A week after testing positive for coronavirus, singer and "American Idol" judge Luke Bryan recently celebrated his win at the Academy of Country Music Awards.
This year's country king is one admirable star! Luke Bryan recently had plenty to celebrate as he was named the entertainer of the year at the 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards. ACM announced on Twitter:
"@LukeBryanOnline was just named Entertainer Of The Year at the 56th #ACMawards! Congrats on taking home the night's top honor!"

During the show, Bryan appeared virtually and accepted his award from Los Angeles after he tested positive for COVID-19 a week earlier. The country singer was beaming with happiness as he thanked the ACM for the honor.
He then appreciated his team, his wife, Caroline, and their two sons, Bo and Tate. The celebrated entertainer also apologized for not being able to attend in person as he was set to perform at the show too.
Bryan described the award as an amazing honor and paid special homage to his fans, and admitted that he has missed touring. He was up against singers Keith Urban, Thomas Rhett, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, and Eric Church.
This year is not the first time that the charming and talented Luke Bryan has had the honor of going home with an ACM award.
After Bryan graciously accepted his award, the singer was quick to assure fans that he would soon be able to get out there and continue entertaining them to the best of his abilities.
Not long after the incredible win, Byan took to Twitter with a video. In the brief 16-second clip, he told fans that he was feeling great and was getting ready to return to the "American Idol" judges' table. He wrote:
"I'm BACK and I'll see y'all shortly for @AmericanIdol !"
Fans reacted warmly to his announcement and rejoiced at how well he is recovering. Many also went on to celebrate his recent ACM win.
This year is not the first time that the charming and talented Luke Bryan has had the honor of going home with an ACM award. Back in 2013 and 2015, he was named entertainer of the year as well.
Other ACM winners for this year include Marren Morris as female artist of the year and for song of the year, Thomas Rhett as the male artist of the year, Dan + Shay as the duo of the year, and Kane Brown for video of the year.
