Daily Joke: A Man and Woman Survive a Terrible Accident Involving Their Cars

The other day, a woman and a man were involved in a serious car accident. Despite the damage done to their cars, both of them escaped with no injuries.

Upon exiting their cars, the woman said, "You see our cars! There isn't anything left, but we are lucky not to be injured. This is an indication from God that we ought to get close and become friends."

The man thought the accident might be a blessing in disguise. Responding to the woman, he said he agreed with her completely. The woman smiled and said that there is another miracle.

In spite of the fact that her car is totally wrecked, the bottle of wine didn't break, the woman said. She added that clearly, they should celebrate their good fortune by drinking wine.

The woman then handed the bottle to the man. He nodded his head in agreement. He then opened the bottle and then chugged several swigs from it before returning it to the woman.

The woman took the bottle and immediately put its cap back on before turning it back over to the man. The man asked if there was any wine left. She replied, "No. I will just wait until the police arrive."

THE PURSE

As soon as she got off the bus, the woman realized that she had left her purse onboard. The bus was already gone by the time she turned around, so she immediately called the bus company.

The woman was relieved to hear that the driver of the bus found her purse. She then returned to the bus to get her purse. A man handed her a typewritten page along with a box filled with her belongings.

The man informed her that lost possessions must be inventoried and that the items would be found in the box. As she reloaded things into her purse, he asked if she didn't mind if they watched.
