Piggy is famous as she and her puggy sister, Stella, have their own Instagram account, @Stellairwinthepug. The account shares adorable photos of Stella and Piggy enjoying life with their human family.
Missing from the adorable snaps are the couple's one-month-old baby, Grace Warrior Irwin Powell, who the couple welcomed on March 25, 2021. However, Irwin wrote that the photos showed:
"All the love. ?"
A few days later, Irwin shared an adorable photo of herself holding Grace while Piggy sat next to them on the floor. Since Grace's arrival, her parents' Instagram accounts have been filled with cute snaps of their baby.
Fans will have the opportunity to see the Irwin family prepare for the arrival of Grace in an hour-long special called "Crikey! It's a Baby," which will be released on Discovery+.
Terri shared the news on Twitter with a heartfelt message about her daughter and her first grandchild.
Entertainment Online shared a sneak peek into the show last month. In the clip, Irwin discussed her feelings about her late father not meeting Grace and how she would keep his memory alive.
She was devastated that her newborn daughter would not meet the Wildlife Warrior and that she could not watch their connection form. However, Irwin explained that she would tell Grace all about her grandfather as she said:
"I can not wait to be able to tell beautiful Grace all of these stories about dad, to be able to share with her what an amazing father he was."
Although Steve Irwin might not be alive to see his eldest child have their first child and become a grandfather, his wife, Terri Irwin, wrote that he would have been very proud of Bindi.
When the family welcomed little Grace into the world, Terri shared the news on Twitter with a heartfelt message about her daughter and her first grandchild. She wrote that Steve would have been proud.
She continued and said that Grace would be the next generation to continue to share his mission and passion for wildlife conservation. Terri wrote that the couple were already wonderful parents.
Bindi and Powell decided to honor the late Steve Irwin in Grace's name. Her middle names, Warrior Irwin, is to honor her late father, who was the most passionate wildlife warrior.
