Kate Middleton evidently takes her work as the patron of Nursing Now very seriously, as she took the time to have a conversation with a Ugandan midwife, Harriet Nayigo who is working hard in her local community.

Middleton looked both sophisticated and professional in her virtual interview, wearing a blue blazer from Zara paired with black trousers and a plain black top.

STYLISH ROYAL

The Duchess of Cambridge is keeping up with her status as one of the most stylish royals. Middleton wore her hair half pinned up with her usual natural make-up to give her a relatable but fashionable look.

She wore a navy blue blazer paired with a light blue dress that hung just above her knee, making the ultimate blue outfit.

The everyday folks will be rushing to Zara to purchase the blazer with padded shoulders and big buttons. The double-breasted jacket costs £59.99 and has already been sold out following the royal's appearance in the blue number.

KEEPING UP THE GOOD WORK

Middleton, a mother of three, takes the work of nurses and mid-wives seriously, proven by her launching the Nurse Now campaign in 2018. Her conversation with Nayiga was centered around her work in the Ugandan community of women.

The Duchess touched on the pressure healthcare workers experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic, asking Nayiga how her community was affected. Mental health for parents was also a topic of discussion as the royal noted:

"One of the challenges here, that has been exacerbated because of the pandemic, is parental mental health."

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE MID-WIFE

The royal also roped in her social media page to promote her interview with the Ugandan mid-wife sharing a few behind-the-scenes snaps of their virtual sit down. The caption reads:

"The Duchess has marked the completion of Nursing Now, a three year global campaign to raise the status and profile of nursing, by interviewing midwife Harriet Nayiga."

The Instagram post shows framed pictures of the Duchess's children on the table behind her as she converses with Nayigo on a tablet propped up on the table in front of her.

ROYAL BLUE

Middleton is known to look exceptionally good in any shade of blue, with her latest Zara blazer look adding proof to the already known fact. Previously the royal has been seen in everything from blue dresses to coatdresses.

The blue Roland Mouret gown that Middleton donned for the 40th anniversary of SportsAid had everyone's heads turning to get another look at her. The off-the-shoulder dress accentuated her fit figure, and the color highlighted her complexion.

Light blue also suits the Duchess of Cambridge, evidenced by the powder blue coat dress she sported for the Queen's 90th birthday celebration. The Catherine Walker number also had white details all down the front.

The 2016 airshow saw the royal pair two blue pieces together. She wore a navy blue blazer paired with a light blue dress that hung just above her knee, making the ultimate blue outfit.
