Meghan Markle Accused of Copying Kate's Signature Red Color after Donning $1,690 Poppy-Print Dress
Meghan Markle recently stunned during the Vax Live Concert. Still, her choice of outfit sparked copycat speculations, and a troller compared her to her sister-in-law Kate Middleton.
Meghan Markle appeared in a virtual pre-recorded tape during the event, which showed her sitting outdoors in the garden wearing a red long-sleeved dress.
The Meghan’s World News Channel tweeted: “Simply beautiful! We love Meghan Markle!” Along with a snap of the Duchess of Sussex offering a grin.

Markle sat on a bench next to a woven pillow with a pop of color in her look. She had her shirt dress unbuttoned, which displayed her gold necklace with matching earrings and bracelet.
One Twitter user wrote that the mom of one copied fellow royal Duchess, Kate Middleton's color attire when she released her new book.
However, other users came to Markle’s defense and revealed that the video was pre-taped way before Middleton released her book photo-op.
When one other user said she was glowing, the Twitter troller opposed and said, “That’s not her glowing, it’s her bright red/orange get up,” while adding:
“I find it interesting that she chose this color after Catherine wore it in her video. She always seems to copy cat. It's odd behavior, really."
Markle opted for a poppy-print tie waist shirt dress from the Carolina Herrera Resort 2021 collection for her appearance. The vibrant attire, which had a floaty silk georgette, costs $1690.
The Duchess of Sussex selected the dress, which still showed her growing baby bump as she is expecting her second born, who is due late this summer.
On May 7, her sister-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge, dressed up in a bright red wool coat dress to celebrate the launch of her photo book by paying a visit to the National Portrait Gallery.
Middleton was photographed donning the outfit as a courtesy of Eponine, a pleated champagne-hued midi skirt. She wore brown stiletto heels and accessorized with dangling crystal earrings.
Although her fashion sense has been compared with that of her in-law more often, a royal insider revealed to Elle back in 2019 that there has always been animosity between them when it comes to their dressing.
At the time, the source said Middleton helped Markle to get accustomed to her new life as a royal member, which included advice on designers and royal protocol. Therefore, most of Markle's wardrobe was drawn from Middleton as an inspiration even though she avoided emulating her.
